Autually,i  have not had any interesting experience about meeting a stranger .I  can just think about the funny and embarassing experience when i was in  high school.

That was a cold winter morning  ,i was so hungry that i went to canteen and tried to buy something to eat.I was not sure if there was any food left because  the class was started and  no one in the canteen at the time .Fortunately, the staff was there and i bought some  bread and a cup of hot milk and when i was walking out sunddenly i saw a bird flew into the canteen and i heard someone spoke to me" please close the door girl i  was gonna to catch the bird"  OMG,the lady thought that i was a girl and why?"Did i look like a girl "i ask myself,at the moment i denyed this ridiculous thought and i turned to this lady and told her i was a boy  and then i left.

I could not believe what had happened next. After school i went to the canteen to buy my lunch and when i was thinking what i would like to buy i heard someone said,"what would you like girl?".When i raised my head,OMG,the same lady!!!

D !! ... The interesting stranger

I was walking just beside my uni along a very common street when a pauper came toward me asking for some money. The guy was an old man, wearing old and dirty clothes and he had some dust on his face. But something was strange, he didn't smell as bad as everyone of us have thought that a guy like this does.  In this moment i didn't feel afraid because i was near my uni so it was not very bad.

I don't know why but the only thing that came to my mind instead of give him money was "I want to give him something different". In this momment i asked him if he was hungry and i invited him to have something to eat with me. We went to a small trolly on the street that sold different things, i said to the man "what would you like for today?" the guy just asked for a "arepa" something very common in my country. I ordered the same as him and i try to start a conversation but he was very quiet, maybe because no one had had this intention with him before or maybe beacuse he was waiting the money in order to buy drugs or alcohol, i never knew it. But maybe, just maybe, his thought about society changed in this momment, or maybe he try to be a better person, i dont know.

We don't stop to think very often about what actions or behaviours we have in our lifes that could influence in others' life. Even saying "hello" or "thanks" to the person who clean your house, office, school, whatever; im sure that this person is going to have a motive to be happy that day.

Think about it !!

I used to travel once a month from Bogota to Bucaramanga, my home city, so i had to spend a lot of time traveling by bus when the flight tickets were expensive, it took around 8 hours. But i'm going to talk about a time when i traveled by plane, the journey was just one hour long. I met a interesting busisness man who started a conversation about the inconvenience that we were having in Bogota's airport, the flight was delayed around 3 hours. We started to talk about the bad customer services that the air company.

After that we were to the cafe to drink a delicious colombian coffe, because it was late in the night, it was so cold and  i was really hungry. It was so interesting to me. When you travel by plane on friday's night from de Capital you usually meet people from the same city where you are traveling, but this person was different, he was from Medellin (It is the second important city in Colombia). People from this city usually are so kind and they love to speak too much which everyone.

We talked about the experience to live in different cities, our personal life, our work and obiously about the beaty of Bucaramanga and the reasons why he loved to visit that city.

When I was waiting for my friend in the park at my school I met one guy who I had never met before but he smiled at me and asked me that what I was doing here. Because I was in the first year at school and everything was new to me. He and I talked a lot about shool and our lives. But I didn't understand what he was saying..... After that, he relalised that I was not his friend...... and I felt very funny and then we had never talk together again even we saw each other everyday.

Once day, my parents' best friend invited me to come to his house for dinner. When I arrvied I was surprised because I met him again.

There I was, seated in a bus, ready to go to Salamanca, a beautiful city 300 kilometres away from Madrid.
One of my friends invited me to spend the weekend so i could visit the city. It seemed like a good plan. Seated next to me was that strange girl, she was looking at me as she was asking herself why i was travelling, so i asked first,
'Hi, my name is isabel, and yours?'
She stared at me surprised, maybe thinking that i was reading her mind.
'Hi, i am Lourdes'
'Seems like we are going to spend a few hours together. I am going to spend the weekend with a friend that lives in Salamanca, to visit the city, and have some fun. What about you? do you live in Salamanca or you are going just to spend the weekend?'
She smiled, was a beautiful smile, a smile of hope, maybe?, and she told me her story.
'Well, it is a strange story, but i think we are going to have enough time.
My father was a farmer, and my mother used to stay at home, making house working all day. I was born with a heart problem, so my parents had to made an effort to raised me up. They didn't have enough money, so they had to ask for a loan in order to have the better doctors and the best treatments. The first two years were the worst of all, going from doctor to doctor, city to city, trying to find someone who could gave them some hope to save that little girl full of life. After a long search they found him, a doctor that was making some new studies about the illness that was killing me. My parents talked to him

I went to Fremantle with my husband about 4 months ago. While we were looking for parking space, a woman came to our car and knocked on our car window. She told us " If you want it, i will give you"
My husband took it and said thank you.  We realised that it was an allday parking ticket.
After traveling we left the parking place, we saw a car that was coming to parking space. We decided to give them this ticket. They said Thank you. We met a stranger and we got to be a stranger who enabled to park free.

About three years ago, I met an interesting stranger, really nowadays he is one of my best friends. I knew that he studied pharmacy as well, but he began his studies six months later than me. Nodody had told me about him, none of my friends was friend of him and we didn't have the same subjects, therefore we hadn't never had opportunity to meet.

One day, I was looking for my classroom and I saw him just in front of my classroom door, then I asked him about his classroom. He was a little confused because he wasn't on the correct floor of the building. I told him where he could find his classroom, however, we had twenty minutes to talk before our classes start, so we began to talk about our university and our studies. We realized that we had a lot of things in common.

After that, we saw each other between the classes and suddenly my friends became his friends, and at the same time his friends became my friends. We enjoyed sharing time together and we made parties and different activities where we could get to know better all the people.

I think it was a good way to know a stranger because in spite of the fact that we weren't in the same semester, we could help each other in academic aspects and we also

Once, when  i was in a running race, i met a man who was competiting in the longest distance which was 21 kilometers. He was around his 80 years old, looked old and peaceful and not very competitive, but you could see the pasion that he had about running.

During the race he always held a relax pace, but never gave up. With a big smile from ear to ear, he finished the race.

Recovering the breath after the tough 21 Km, this man was been admired by everybody else; after a while i had the opportunity to meet him and listen part of his history.

Hearing him, was such a motivational moment; he had run several full Iron Man Triathlons during his life and had never given up his pasion about this sport. This man had had the best moments of his life running triathlons around the world, winning lot of times in his category.

His words were full of knowledge and "wise?"(when someone has a lot of knowledgment after many years of experience). Seeing him was inspiring.

It was one day the last winter. It was really cold in that mountain at 8.00 am. My brother and I went to ride the bike as we used to do every Saturday morning, then we met one guy climbing the same mountain but he was doing that on foot and without t-shirt, which was certainly unusual. He stopped us to ask for a bit of water and we gave to him without hesitation.

When he finished drinking, he started to tell us that he had started to run every morning in that mountain many years ago while he had been fighting in the national war, and his training was basically this exercise every morning, even if the day was really cold. We started to think, "This guy must to be crazy", but after a few minutes talking, I think the guy realised that we were thinking that and he started to show us trenches and gun places hidden in the middle of the forrest. It was really interesting to find out that despite that we had been riding our bikes there every weekend we had never noticed those historic places. After that we realised that the appearance sometimes gives you a wrong idea of the person appearances are deceiving.

Also, we understood the war changes everyone's life, driving ourselves to a kind of crazyness.

Last weekend, I had received messeges from my friend that made me annoyed. My friend wrote to me with angry words and she told me that I had asked something silly and difficult to ansewer.  I thought that weren't my questions but  she didn't want to talk anymore. Because I asked her about her permission to go to Philipine and her family.....

After I had read that I wondered what was happing for my  friend? I didn't write anything to her....I'm wating for her to say something else.

This week everything has been going  well except one thing which really annoyed me.Ok, here is the thing , i have been in Perth for 4 months and I am going to learn Foundation in Canning College .My agent told me i have to take the IELTS exam so that i can go to this college and maybe the exam will start in May.I study and study everyday  and recently i heard a lot of suggestion from my friends which were to take the entrance exam of canning college  to enter this college.I was confused and i went to the front desk of PICE and asked the staff was that  true if  i just had to take the entrance exam and she said yes!I felt annoyed at the moment . I called my angent immediately and asked her with the furious voice why she didn't tell me about that.At last she told me i could  take the entrance exam. That is it, i think her intention is just for money.

Really I have had a good week, but if I have to talk about something that has annoyed me this week, I will tell you that the weather has been a little bit inconsistent for me. I like the sunny days but I consider that the temperature has been so high last three days. By the way, when I arrive home, I feel extremely tired because of the heat.

In my city I used to wear sweaters and jumpers everyday, now I'm getting used to wear different clothes here. At the begining, three weeks ago, I liked the weather because I thought it would be different to my current life, but this week I have missed the low and intermediate temperatures where I felt better, where I could walk in the streets without being desperate for just one reason: the sun on my face.

In spite of this fact, I can see the hot days in a positive way. Perhaps, next weekend I'm going to the beach, so I think this is an amazing opportunity nowadays, later I could want to go there and the winter wouldn't be a perfect season to enjoy these kind of things.

Anyway, I hope next days the temperature gets lower, but not so low that I can go out

Diego - Something that annoyed me this week

Earlier in this week, after i finished my work at 11 pm i had an annoying moment. Since the last friday the Clarkson train line was been repaired, so transperth pasted an information chart at the entrance of the train station saying that there were bus train replacements after 8 pm. On Monday or Tuesday i finished my work and as usually i went walking to the train station and saw the information chart that i always check, that day the bus train replacement were still announced. I went to the bus stop an wait for the bus, but that day the bus didn't arrive on time, so i kept waiting and few minutes later i heard the train. I couldn't believe that the train was running and no body took out the paper from the information chart. So i missed the train and i didn;t have bus.... was 11:30 pm, i was exhausted and had to get home to cook my dinner, cook my lunch for the next day, do my homework and off course wake up early to go to school.

For my that was annoying because at nights i have just a few bus options, the number of buses to go to my house is small. So i have to be always aware of the timetable and be very carefull if i don't want to sleep on the streets.

Anyway...sometimes is difficult to agree with everybody or everything, but it's important try to see the things from different sides and try to get something from that experiences that can allows you to improve.

Vianny

I usually work at nights, it's quite hard, because at the end of the day i'm so tired and i don't want to do anyhing. But this week my supervisor has been cheking my work everyday at the end of my shift. Unfortunately he found a simple mistakes in it, and he told me that i have to do extra task before going home. I don't know what happen with him this week, but i would like to kill him when he complained about my work. He should check it early in the night, not at the end of my shift, because if i finish late my work the company is not going to pay me extra time.

This situation annoys me too much, because i usually have to run to catch the train at 8:45, that means i have to finish my work at least at 8:30 then i have to walk so fast to the train station. But this week i've finished 10 minutes after than usual, so i've run everyday to catch the train and that make me fell exhausted every night. However when i arrive home i just think in relax and cook my lunch and dinner, so i forgot my bad moment.

DIEGO SALAZAR

I've been studying in PICE for almost 9 months already and three weeks ago i decided to take my "holidays" in order to work full time and safe some money to travel at the end of my course.

The way that I found this job was the funniest way you could imagine. One night I was drinking some beers with a friend just beside the river, we were catching up on what had happened during that week because she was not studying in the same school as me, so it was difficult to see each other during the weekdays. After a while we were walking on the streets singing colombian songs, it was very funny, everyone were watching us and thinking, what's wrong with these guys?. The night was very hot, the temperature was 35 degrees i think but  we didn't mind it was the perfect ocation to scape of all the stress that the job and the school produced in us. Being in front of the train station, a guy came to us and said that we sang very well. After a minute we were chatting and he asked, 'Are you looking for a job?' it was perfect because i would be able to take my holidays and work full time, it was fantastic!.  At the end this guy said that he was the chef of the C restaurant and he was looking for someone who helped him in the kitchen, he said it was a very hard work but it was good payed.

One week after i was working there, i met all the crew and the place. When i started i thought it was amazing, i would learn how to cook special things and i would get some money. The first two days were good, with some problems to understand but it was great.

My husband had been a  nonsmoker, actually he was before i found cigarrets in his poket.
When i saw it, i thought that it wasn't his. I wanted to destroy them but i decided to wait for him.
I wondered why he had started to smoke and form when.
He came back home and i asked him. He told that he had started just a few days ago and this was the fist and last one.
I want to believe what he told.

isabel

Somenthing annoying that happened to me a couple of days ago was that one of my brothers sent me an
e-mail because he wanted to know if the tickets for his holidays were confirm. The fact was that before I came to Perth, I asked for some tickets to my brother and two friends to travel from Madrid to Punta Cana.
There was supposed to be no problem with that, but one month before, the company changed the way
of booking tickets and there was not a note comunicating that fact. When I sent a mail to the company to confirm the tickets they told me they had no information about them, and that I had to make the booking again.I was annoyed with the fact that nobody had e-mailed that information because now I have no access to the company's system for doing that, and yesterday I had to ask a workmate to do it for me because they have to travel next sunday and the booking department needs at least four days to confirm the tickets, what means that maybe they could have a problem with their holidays.

Emma - Stg that annoyed me this week

I used to Skype my family as much as I could since I arrived in Perth, especially my mother because we are very close. But on Monday , when I Skyped her , i saw my grandmother on the screen (you have to know that my father, mother, grandmother and oncle are working together).

So it was at work, and she didn't look good. She learned that i've found a job as a cleaner and saw some pictures of me partying on facebook via my little brother (i don't know how she did it..) In brief , we spent one hour arguing about my job and lifestyle ; "You can find a better job ! I saw you in picture with a glass of alcohol ! I don't understand you're generation etc... " I explained her that everything was ok, that the money i'm earning is enought for now and that my lifestyle is normal for any people of 19. The day after i sent her an email and fortunatly it's better now.

Today i will tell you the best novel i have ever read.It is a Chinese novel  and i read it when i was a high school student. The  novel just has its own Chinese book name so that i don't know how to translate it.The story in this book is about the history of China.Even though it is a novel it bases on the real story and add some imagination about the writer's opinions.

The story  set in China  2000 years ago, the dynasty what we called Qin dynasty. The emperor named Qin Sihuang  was a very successful  emperor and he won a lot of battles and unified the whole ancient China. But meanwhile,he was an extremly cruel emperor at the time.He ordered the majority of men  in China to buill The Great Wall and during that time most of Chinese were like live in a hell and most men were dead. The Great Wall became a miracla

I like this book because i can learn a lot of history about ancient China and it is not like a normal history book boring.

I have read some interseting books but the best book I like that talks about a women during the Vietnamese War.

A couple was living in the war so the husbands had to go to the army and the women stayed at home to take care the parents and children. During the war, the husband visited his house for sreval times after that he didn't visit anymore because the war was more dangerous. At that time, the wife wondered to hear the news from the husband. Some times she heard he was well and changed the place to live.

When the war was finish evry one came back their houses but she didn't see her husband. Day by day she carried the baby who was his son to wait for the father.

The best novel I ever read was "The white Massai". This novel is about a woman from Switzerland, who was on holiday with her husband in Africa.

From this moment on she have to think about him every day and could not forget him - even not back in Switzerland. So she decided to travel back to Africa a few months later. One of the best novels i have ever read is called The Notebook. It was based on a movie but like in the majority of the cases, books are much better than the movies. This novel is about the story of a man (Ethan) who was lower class in the society and one day met a upper class woman. She was absolutly beautiful and since the beganing the had a good feeling between each other.

The man used to live in a town with his parents and he was a labor worker. One day, while he was working in the mines, he saw that beatiful woman surounded by business and wealthy men. That wasn't a impediment for him to wants meet her, also was a bigger challenge in wihich he didn't saw any inconvenient at the moment.

The woman was in the town just for holidays, so she usually use to walk on the city streets going for shoping and that kind of stuff that girls like, but the important thing is that in an afternoon the man bump into this girl and had the opportunity to talked to her.

Since that day, they started to went out which just increase the feelings and the love between each other stared to born. All the time that she was in the town they were together. That love was clandestine because she had a fionce in her city, he was a rich and well known man in the upper society.

She was completely in love with the lower class man and the feelings that she felt for him wasn't comparables. That was a huge presure for her, because every body was expecting the weeding and she found a deep rejection for her parents about this new man.

Her parents started to see that she was espending a lot of time with him and getting to be extremely keen on him, so they decide to send her to the city and took her appart of him. One moorning with out say anything they took her and send her to the city.

The poor guy, discovered this after she had left.

No more time, so i would recomend read the book or watch the movie.

The best novel - Martin

The best story what I have ever read was The Alchymist from Paulho Coelho. He is writter from South America. He is famous over all word and I think, the Alchymist was his first novel.

The book is very well written and if you start reading it you cannot stop. The story is about one young poor man, who takes care about sheep in his country. He is quite satisfied with his life. One day he has a strange dream. The dream is very lively and he can see the treasure in some foreing country and he knows that he can find it. The vision is so strong, that he makes decision to travel and find the treasure. He meet a lot of people from many countries on his way. The dream is still repeated and he follows the instruction. He spend one year searching for the treasure, but still nothing. He has plenty of new expiriences and his mind is open now, but he has doubt as well and he is a bit confused because he cannot find the treasure and he traveled almost all word.
One night, he has the dream again and now it is everything clear. He knows, where the treasure is and he is very suprise, because the place is only a few metres from his house. He had to travel almost all word to find that the most important things are at home.

I have read some amazing books but I think the best I have read is a famous book around the world... Cien anos de soledad. This book was written by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, a colombian man who lived in a little town of the atlantic coast in my country.

The novel was about the story of a enormous family and their lives in that town where the writter lived. It is very interesting because there were many relationships between the family, and you can find some adventures they had because of their hard life, for example. The story has government, religious and culture topics as well, by the way, I think the novel is a pretty good way to know the colombian situation about sixty years ago.

I liked this novel because the writter gives a lot of details thorough all the book and I felt really into the story. Magic realism is the kind of literature he writes, then I can understand the context and the atmosphere of the story and at the same time I can think in maybe unreal places and characters. Finally, in my opinion, this book es a wonderful opportunity for teenagers and people of all ages, to learn and know more about the colombian context last century.

About 5 years ago, I was staying and treaveling in Sydeny. One day, I needed some money so, I went to a n ATM in front of the bank.
When it was my turn, I pressed $40 button and was waiting for the money to come out. I took the money and then I realised that I had got $20 and a piece of paper of the same size of a note. I thought that it's impossible situation.
At that time I was wearing a baseball hat and looked like suspectable. I did not think that they would believe me.But I couldn't give up my money and made desicion to go into the bank and explain this.
When I told a staff, he called his upper management. I could see that they were discussing over the window, and then then management came to me and told " it is impossible, We will investegate, and call you."
After 2weeks, I had got a mail from the bank

There have been many embarasing moments in my life, but all of them just have given me good moments to remember and laugh about, from small things up to really embarrasing moments. Things like saying the wrong word in the most inapropiated moment, fall over an old woman on a bus, ask to a woman how many month of pregnancy does she has or choose the worst gift for the girl your are dating with, are just of the the moments that when i remember i would like to be underground.

Particulary, i remember one day when i was at my house and my parents were having a meeting with some friends, and they were busy and running around getting things ready when guests would arrived. like usually they weren't ready for the first guest, so like usually i had to went out and recived them.

But i never imagined what was going to happen when i opened the door. As soon as i opened the door i saw a lady in her middle age with a pretty face and a perfect circular pregnant belly, so my fist reaction was said to her: ''oohhh i din't know that you were pregnant!!! Congratulations, you must be in advance month''

Her face started to change and now she didn't look pretty or kind, actually she looked like a devil who was going to kill me. She didn't say anything and got into the house.

The next day i knew that she wasn't pregnant, it was just a a belly full of food.

Oh my good!!! That was a very enbarasing moment, but funny.

First of all you have to know that I don't like pets, I don't like animals, none of them. I think this fact is because when I was about seven years old, one dog attacked my grandmother and she had to go to the hospital. So I think it was traumatic for me and all my cousins.
Last year, one day at university I arrived home and nobody wasn't there. My parents were working and my brother was playing soccer with his friends. Then, I found one of the front doors opened and I began to worry... I went to the second floor and I left my bag on my bed. Later I turned on my computer and suddenly I heard a strange sound... I saw a little cat there! So I screamed, the cat ran away and I closed my bedroom door. I called my mother and as I was crying, she got worried. She thought that someone had stolen me or something terrible had happened. I told her the story and she was angry because it was not a reason to cry. Fortunately, my brother called me later and he was good with me, I told him that when he arrived home he had to look for the cat and to take it out because I really did close all the doors.

Finally they arrived home and they told me "don't worry, everything is ok!" I felt better and I knew that I had to be relaxed with animals to don't feel panic in a situation like this one.

In the summer I used to volunter to go to schools on the mountain  in my country. One summer I went to the small school that far from my city about 6 hours by car. That place, there was no eclitriccity, people are very poor and I stayed with them all the time I lived there. However they are very friendly.

Every day I taught the chilend who are bout 6 to 8 years old. One day, I gave my students topic for drawing about mushrooms. While they were drawing I drew too. After they had given me their drawing I showed them mine. Suddenly one little boy said somthing but I couldn't understand. Beacause they couldn't speak Vietnames well so I couldn't understand. The boy was really upset beacause I didn't understand him. I guessed I wasn't good peson.....And after that I went out and called another gril, she older them him and could speak Vietnames. She told me I wasn't good person beacases I drew a not good picture. I drew a mushroom and covered it with green colour. That is a poision mushroom. So I understood about that. I thanked to him becasue I have knwon berore.

That made me embarrassing......

Something funny or embarrassing that happened to me. EMMA BIASIZZO

When i was 7years old , i woke up in my bedroom after a short nap , looking for my mother. I ran in a hurry to the living room , same for the kitchen, but nobody was home.  And i don't know why, but i started to panic a lot, running everywhere calling her, crying and worried that she wasn't there. So i took the phone and dialed one of the only number i knew : Police , then i just get out of my house and went to my neighbours who were old people so i considered them to be like my grandparents. But they didn't have the time to calm me down the Police was already here , me and my neighbours who were very confused in front of the house. I found out that my mother was upstairs , having a shower when she opened the door more confused than everybody else seing me crying and the police just in front.

One of the most embarrassing thing that I've ever had was long time ago, when I was kid.It was summer, and I was outside playing with my friends. From always we were doing funny and stupid things, but once I did something stupid and I was embarrassed! I took off my clothes and I was running and I don't remeber what else I went around one building, but I didn't see that I was wached by other ( older ) people. My friends knew about this all the time, but they didn't tell me.Me and my friends, we are still laughping about this situation.
